Established in 1942 as a tea merchant under the popular 888 brand, Thong Guan Bhd started off with modest beginnings in the F&B sector. It subsequently diversified into the plastics industry which grew with export volumes. It is now going back full-circle to expand on its consumption business through its tie-up with Chinese partner COFCO group, to tap into the organic noodles market in China.
