Though the media in China is strictly censored by the party and government, domestic TV stations are still a very important channel to get latest information for people’s daily life.
For guys who are not Chinese, Chinese TV programs are also a good source to learn the language and its culture. However, it is not easy to watch China domestic TV programs outside of the mainland China. This is because Chinese TV stations mainly focus on the domestic market on the one hand, and on the other hand online stream of TV programs, e.g. www.cntv.cn, is always blocked outside of China due to the restriction of copyright.
To facilitate guys who do not live in China watch Chinese TV programs, I created several web pages to watch live programs from most of the popular Chinese TV stations. It is pretty handy, just click the above links. There is no need to install any plugin or software. Enjoy it and tell your friends who are interested.

The annual Chinese New Year Gala hosted by China Central Television (CCTV), abbreviated in Chinese as Chunwan, shown on the eve of Chinese Lunar New Year has become a ritual of Chinese people including overseas Chinese when celebrate the festival since 1983, when it was first televised live at home and abroad.
The gala usually starts at 8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and lasts about four hours Making it one of the premier television events of China, CCTV Chinese New Year Gala is the large-scale integrated party owning a largest audience. The Gala is in a variety of forms, often featuring musical, dance, comedy, and drama performances.
CCTV strives for the new high each year to cater to all audience’s tastes. 2015 CCTV Chinese New Year Gala is themed by “the family gets prosperous through union”, to concern about the family harmony.
中国中央电视台春节联欢晚会，简称“春晚”，是中央电视台在每年农历除夕晚上为庆祝农­历新年举办的综艺性文艺晚会。时间一般持续到正月初一（春节）的午夜。
春晚在演出规模、演员阵容、播出时长和海内外观众收视率上，总共创下3项世界之最：入­选中国世界纪录协会世界收视率最高的综艺晚会；世界播出时间最长的综艺晚会。
